Kickbots.stream ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Service includes:
A. Information You Provide to Us
When you connect your accounts to our Service, we collect information directly from you or through the respective platforms' APIs. This includes:
- Authentication Tokens: We store secure OAuth 2.0 tokens (access and refresh tokens) for the third-party platforms you connect, such as Kick, Twitch, Discord, Spotify, and YouTube. These tokens are used to act on your behalf as authorized.
- Configuration Data: We store the settings and content you create, such as custom command text, timer messages, moderation keywords, alert settings, and giveaway configurations.
B. Information from Third-Party Services
When you link your accounts, we collect basic profile information to enable our services:
- From Kick: Your Kick username, user ID, chatroom ID, and profile picture.
- From Twitch: Your Twitch username, user ID, and profile picture.
- From YouTube: If you connect your YouTube account via our Connections page, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. We use the YouTube API services to collect your YouTube channel ID, channel title, avatar, to poll for your live chat and latest video ID to provide alerts or start listening to your live chat for overlays or chatbot functions.
- From Discord: Your Discord username, user ID, and avatar.
- From Spotify: Your Spotify user ID to enable song display features.
C. Information Collected Automatically
- Chat Data: For our overlay features, we process chat messages from your connected channels in real-time. This data is temporarily cached to display on-screen and is not permanently stored for analytical purposes.
- Log Data: Our servers automatically log information ("Log Data") created by your use of the Service, which may include your browser type, and actions taken. This is used for monitoring, security, and debugging.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies to maintain your session and preferences. This allows us to keep you logged in and remember your settings. Our service may also store or access information on your device to provide these features.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Enable bot actions in your channels (e.g., sending messages, running timers, processing commands).
- Power stream overlays with real-time chat content.
- Trigger alerts for events like new videos or live streams.
- Authenticate and manage your account and connections to Third-Party Services.
- Monitor and analyze usage to improve the Service.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information under the following circumstances:
- With Third-Party Services: We interact with the APIs of connected services (Kick, Twitch, etc.) as necessary to provide our functionality. Our use of this data is governed by our policy and their respective privacy policies.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
4. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Authentication tokens and other sensitive data are stored securely in our database. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the information you provide to us, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
